Honeywell Heat Pump Thermostats
Heat Pumps are all-in-one heating and air conditioning systems that work year round to keep your home or office comfortable. During colder months, heat pumps work to collect heat from the outdoor air and transfer it indoors. When there is warmer weather, the process works in reverse, taking the heat from the inside and transferring it outside. During extreme conditions of cold weather, the air still contains heat, if only a little. At times when the outside air is not sufficient to heat your home or office, an electric heater supplements the process. This process produces up to three times more heat than the energy it consumes, making it a very efficient process.
Heat pumps can also work as a duel system in conjunction with existing gas furnaces sharing the heating load between them. Neither system function while the other is operating utilizing the times when each system is most efficient.
