There is also audio confirmation of your touchscreen entries so you know exactly what you have selected at any time. The White Rodgers 1F97-1277 Touchscreen Room Thermostat meets energy star specifications. It also includes patented cool saving which means the thermostat saves energy during peak A/C demand periods. Also featured are remote sensing indoor or outdoor and a service indicator that tells you if you need to call an HVAC service contractor for repairs. If you need a thermostat that is truly universal, look no further than the White Rodgers 1F97-1277 Touchscreen Room Thermostat. There are two different ways the thermostat is universal. It can be run by batteries or hardwired with battery backup because it is universal dual powered. It is universal in an additional way because it is 7 day programmable, 5/1/1 day programmable or non-programmable depending on what the installer selects.
